PHILIP ATLAKSON (WRITER/PRODUCER) is a film and theatre writer, director, and actor. He is also the producer of Garret’s previous award-winning student films. He has written for Robert Redford’s Wildwood Productions, Paramount Pictures, and 20th Century Fox Studios. His films have been broadcast on Stars Encore, HBO-Latin America, Multi-Canal Spain, and Movieplex- Canada. In addition, he has produced and directed critically acclaimed Off-Broadway productions of Macbeth, The Ascetic of Lincoln County, and Leapfrog Through Time and Space. He is the recipient of the Stanley Drama Prize, The Kennedy Center Medallion, and numerous writing fellowships, grants, and residencies. He is a member of PEN-America and WGA–West. He currently heads the Dramatic Writing Program at Boise State University.
RATH ROTT MONY (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR) was born in Cambodia, but because of political turmoil, was raised in a Thai refugee camp where he received a Western education and learned to speak English. Upon his return to Cambodia in 1990, he became involved with numerous Non Governmental Organizations and currently serves as Director for Center of Labor Rights in Cambodia (CLARI). Mony has been a producer and translator for Garret’s previous films A Cambodian Snack, The Tourist, and Eviction.
LONG KIMHEANG (ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY) is Senior Communications Officer for Housing Rights Task Force, a local NGO in Cambodia. She has contributed additional footage of forced evictions in Phnom Penh.
RAMON MENENDEZ (PROJECT CONSULTANT) is the director of "Stand and Deliver", and writer of "Tortilla Soup".
JON HAMMOND (EDITING CONSULTANT) is the editor of "Hitler’s Victory" and "The Bill".
